Is it really free? +
Yes — the layout tool is free to use for sign makers. Design as many signs as you like, size the power, and export a parts list at no cost. You pay only for the LED parts you choose to order from your supplier. MapMySign is currently in beta, and designing signs is free for a limited time while the beta runs — so it’s a good moment to jump in.
Can I use my own modules & power supplies? +
Yes. Import your own LED modules and drivers — with their real spacing, wattage and pricing — and MapMySign lays out every sign using your catalog, so your quotes sell your product.
What files can I upload? +
PDF and vector artwork (SVG, AI, EPS). Letter outlines are detected automatically, and you can draw or adjust shapes right in the app.
How accurate are the module counts? +
Counts, spacing and wattage are computed from your actual artwork against per-module spacing rules — the same engine that runs behind Power Supply Mall, Wellforces and ENVO.
Do I need CAD experience? +
No. Upload artwork and the layout builds itself. Everything is adjustable with simple on-canvas controls — no CAD skills required.
